NO-DIG Poland 2016

No-Dig Poland 2016

April 12-14, 2016. The 7th International Conference on Trenchless Technologies No-Dig Poland 2016 was held in Kielce – Cedzyna.
The conference has been organized since 2005. in a biennial cycle, and each of its editions has been attended by a large number of domestic and foreign participants (including those from outside Europe), including representatives of the scientific community, water and sewerage companies, design and contracting companies, and manufacturers of materials and equipment used in trenchless engineering.
Topics of the conference include issues closely related to the use of trenchless technology in the design, construction and repair of investments in the water supply, road and rail sectors, among others. Trenchless construction and repair of underground networks under existing infrastructure, as well as trenchless construction of infrastructure tunnels.
The widespread use of trenchless technologies, precluding the need for street closures and detours due to excavation work, is particularly effective in urban conditions. It significantly reduces or even eliminates various environmental nuisances (CO2 and exhaust emissions, noise and many other pollutants). These technologies are very fast to implement and at the same time, in most cases, more cost-effective than traditional excavation technologies.
On April 13, during the gala accompanying the 7th International No-Dig Poland 2016 Conference, commemorative engravings were presented to the conference sponsors and diplomas to the honored individuals and companies.

Honors and awards
Graverons were presented by prof. Ph. Eng. Andrzej Kuliczkowski, chairman of the Scientific and Organizational Committee of the conference, president of the board of directors of the Polish Foundation for Trenchless Techniques, and Mariusz Karpiński-Rzepa, editor-in-chief of the journal Modern Engineering Construction.
Commemorative graverons were given to:
